Sheila Adamo, LCSW, CADC is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with additional certification in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling. She currently serves as Clinical Director and provides individual, couples, and family therapy in private practice. Sheila is also the co-owner of Building Parent Connections, an organization dedicated to providing education, guidance, and support to parents of children with special needs.
Sheila served on the National Organization for Albinism and Hypopigmentation (NOAH) Board of Directors for eight years, including two years as Board Chair. She continued her involvement with NOAH and the albinism community by managing the New Parent Program and regularly presenting workshops online and at the conferences. Sheila also partnered with the Lighthouse for the Blind to develop programs for parents of visually impaired children.
A proud mother of four—one of whom has albinism—Sheila lives in Naperville, Illinois, with her husband and family.

Megan Pitt, LMHC-D is a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Megan currently has her own private counseling practice where she works with individuals and parents. Megan coordinates NOAH’s New Parent Program in addition to being a regular workshop presenter, and is a Tele-Support group facilitator for The Lighthouse Guild. Ms. Pitt lives in upstate New York with her husband and 2 children, one of whom has albinism.
