Lighthouse Guild Tele-Support Network for Parents of Children with Albinism
Welcome!
My name is Megan Pitt. I am a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I live and work in the Western New York area with my husband and our two sons. Our oldest son has Albinism. I have been a part of the NOAH community for the past seven years. During that time, I have enjoyed connecting with the Lighthouse Guild. Through the Lighthouse Guild, I will be restarting the FREE Tele Support Group this month for parents that have a child with Albinism. This group is designed to give support to parents or caregivers whom have a child with albinism. This group meets the third Thursday of the month via ZOOM to explore and process feelings around parenting a child with Albinism.
As a counselor I remember that people are experts in their own lives, and it’s the therapists role to support them on their own journey.
If you are interested in checking out the tele support group please go to https://www.lighthouseguild.org/patients-families/tele-support-services/support-for-parents/ to get started.
If you have questions please free to contact me and I can give you more information on how to enroll.
Our next group will be help on Thursday, April 21, 2022 @ 8:30PM EST.
It is such a privilege to get to know you and your families. I hope to hear from you soon!
Warm regards,
Megan Pitt, LMHC
