Kayaking
Wednesday, July 15th ~ 4:00 – 10:00 PM

Event location is Adaptive Sports Connection ~ 6000 Harriott Rd, Powell, OH 43065

A WAIVER MUST BE SIGNED BY ALL ATTENDEES!!! If under the age of 18 a legal guardian must sign the waiver and a supervising adult MUST be present at the event. 
You will be emailed a link to sign the waiver from Adaptive Sports Connection.

Please wear athletic clothing and close toed shoes for this event. Please bring water, sunglasses and sun protection as it will still be sunny for several hours. 

The group will have an open paddle experience of the Twin Lakes area. 

An ACA introduction to paddling class will be offered to anyone that wants to participate at no cost. The instructor will also offer an additional rescue and safety equipment class for those interested. If you chose to participate in the rescue class YOU WILL GET WET, please bring a towel and change of clothing. 

Both classes are optional and completely free.

Scavenger Hunt

Explore German Village
Thursday, July 16th ~ 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
402 Tower – meet in the lobby seating area near the registration desk

Transportation is via COTA Day pass (Public Bus) which is included. If you miss the bus, you will be responsible for catching the next available bus (there are multiple routes and options) or providing your own transportation to the meeting point. It is imperative that you ready to go at 12pm in the lobby as mentioned above.

We may not be able to fit all in one bus. Recommend bus lines include the 1, 2, and 5. We will be using the N. High and Ohio Center Way stop to board.

• If on line 1, the stop is E Livingston Ave and Macon Aly.
• If on line 2, the stop is E Main St. And S. High St.
• If on line 5, the stop is S High St. and W. Sycamore St. Line 5 is the most direct with the least amount of walking to the tour meeting point. 

COTA recommends the use of the Transit App. 

The guided walking tour will begin at 1:30 pm at the Book Loft of German Village 631 S 3rd St, Columbus, OH 43206. It will end back at the same location. 

Attendees are expected to make their own way back to the hotel following the event.

Please note: German Village has a lot of brick sidewalks and streets; they may be uneven.

Ride, Climb, and Relax (three activities in one!)

TWO WAIVERS MUST BE SIGNED BY ALL ATTENDEES!!! If under the age of 18 a legal guardian must sign the waiver and a supervising adult MUST be present at the event. 

Participants will be walking from the hotel to the ride point. It is roughly a 25-30 minute walk through Columbus’s Arena District. The bike ride will begin at 700 W Nationwide Blvd Columbus, OH. 43215. A variety of standard two wheel bikes and trikes will be available. 
You will be emailed a link to sign the biking waiver from Adaptive Sports Connection.

Climbing will take place at Bloc Garten ~ 512 Maier Pl, Columbus, OH 43215

Please note: Food and Drink are not included in your registration costs and are paid on your own. Please do not consume alcohol before climbing. Transportation back to the hotel is also on your own (bus, rideshare, scooters, or walking).

Zoombezi Bay (and Adventure Cove)
Friday, July 17th ~ 5:15 – 11:00 PM
402 Tower – meet in the lobby seating area near the registration desk

The bus will depart the hotel at 5:15pm and arrive at Zoombezi Bay at approximately 6:00pm. The bus will depart Zoombezi Bay at 10:15pm and return to the hotel at approximately 11:00pm.

If you miss the bus, you are responsible for your own transportation. Please ensure you have appropriate clothing and items for a water park including towels.
