About the Task Forces
Each NOAH Connections Task Force represents a unique community within NOAH.
Members provide insight, suggest topics, and help shape meaningful programming.
- Meet 2+ times per year (Zoom, ~1 hour)
- One-year minimum commitment
- Volunteer role – collaborative, flexible, community-driven
- Respond to occasional email threads or polls
- Collaborate on call topics, icebreakers, and hosts
- Offer feedback on community needs
- Participation in Connections calls is encouraged
Your lived experience strengthens support and programming. We welcome NOAH community members who are:
- Passionate about connection and community
- Open to listening, sharing experiences, and collaborating as a team
- Familiar with NOAH programs

Adults with Albinism
Brings together adults with albinism to share experiences, insight, and recommendations that help shape meaningful virtual programming. This group ensures that NOAH’s adult-focused events and discussions reflect the real lives, needs, and aspirations of adults in our community.
Grandparents of Children with Albinism
Represents the special role of grandparents in the NOAH community—those who nurture, support, and celebrate children with albinism. Members share ideas for programming that strengthens family connections and fosters understanding across generations.
LGBTQ+ & Allies
Creates welcoming, affirming, and inclusive spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies within the albinism community. This task force helps guide topics, hosts, and events that honor authenticity, visibility, and belonging for everyone.
Parenting Without Pigment (PWA Parents)
Connects parents who have albinism and share the unique experience of raising children while living with albinism. Members collaborate to shape meaningful discussions, suggest call topics, and ensure programming that is relevant, empowering, and supportive.
Parents & Caregivers of Children with Albinism
Gathers the insights of parents and caregivers supporting children with albinism. This group helps design conversations, calls, and events that build community, share practical resources, and strengthen family confidence and connection.
Teens with Albinism
Amplifies teen voices and experiences within the NOAH community. Members help shape virtual events, topics, and activities that are engaging, relevant, and empowering for teens with albinism to connect, learn, and lead.
Young Adults with Albinism
Focuses on the transition from adolescence to adulthood, offering guidance on topics that matter most to young adults with albinism—education, careers, independence, and connection. Members help shape programming that supports growth, confidence, and community.
